In the Pacific Palms area we have only three boat ramps, and even though N.S.W. Fisheries collected more than $10,000,000 in fees from recreational fisherpersons during 2005, they are poorly maintained.
Photos of the ramps available for Public use can be viewed by clicking below. It advised to use 4WD at Brambles Reserve, Tarbuck Bay and a necessity at Elizabeth Beach for launch and retreive over the sand.
The other two ramps are of concrete construction but ease of use is governed by (a) the amount of water in Smiths Lake and (b) the time of tide in Wallis Lake.
